4over’s silk hang tags are printed in full-color 16pt stock and laminated on both sides, giving them a supple durability. They are water and tear-resistant with a standard 0.125" drill hole or bottleneck with a round die-cut for hanging. Add spot UV to silk hang tags for an added flair.

FAQs
- Are silk hang tags water resistant or waterproof?
Silk hang tags are water resistant, but not waterproof. This means the tags stand up well when they come in contact with a small amount of water, but cannot be submerged in water without water seeping into the tag and causing damage. Please test your specific application to ensure the tags are appropriate for that use.
- How do I set up my file for hang tags?
- Bleed must extend past the cut line and will be trimmed from the product during the final cutting phase. When the image is required to extend all the way to the edge, bleed is needed to preserve the finished look and the quality of the final product.
- Please keep all text at least 0.125" inside the cut line.
- The bleed for standard products is 0.125”.
- Is silk a coating or a laminate?
- The silk effect is a laminate with several coating options including:
- Silk laminated
- Silk laminated with spot UV on both sides
- Silk laminated with spot UV on front only
- Silk laminated with spot UV on back only
- Can silk hang tags be written on?Yes, silk hang tags can easily be written on with a ballpoint pen or a Sharpie. We do not recommend gel-type pens.
